Students Year 2021

Rasame

From the experience that I have learned from the Sisters of Providence staying in their Foundation for 3 years. First of all, I thank God for making me a part of this Foundation.  Thank you, all Sisters, for taking care of me, always giving advice and being a good mother for us.

This foundation is like a home that lives together in happiness and warmth. What impresses me the most is all the Sisters' teachings that are not just words but practice and show clearly how to learn more about life and new things.

Surpass our own difficulties and always develop our own potential for our own good future.

Over the years, I saw how many sacrifices they have taken to build a safe home for the girls and I think of how many memories there are of suffering, happiness, laughter, and tears as well.

All the flavors and colors of life that I will never forget, those experiences have made me who I am today. I am currently graduating from Grade 6. When most girls in the villages of my age cannot reach this position because of the many troubles we have to overcome.

I would like to study at Mae Fah Luang University (Nursing). Finally, I would like to thank the Sisters and the Providence Foundation for always giving me love, warmth, encouragement and support in the path that I have chosen.

Thank you.

Chadaporn Thasirikon

Hello, I am Chadaporn Thasirikon, nickname is Namtan means (Sugar)

I finished High school at Chiang Saen Withayakhon School and throughout the period I learned that I have been with the Sisters of Providence for 6 years. It can be considered that I have grown a lot both in education and living with the others at the Centre. And I would like to thank the Sisters of Providence very much during the past 6 years. When I came to stay with the Sisters we did not have a home yet and I could see that period was a very difficult period but by this time, that moment was a very important time too because I have learned that if we trust in the Providence of God and work hard everything is possible and after a difficult time today we have a real home. And I am happy to say that I could participate a bit when in past time every one of us was busy to make the Calendars and to sell it and do various activities to find a budget and we also received support from generous people who support us in our needs. Now our home and the house named is Lilia’s house is a reality for me and for many girls who are living here.

I am happy and grateful that I could finish high school and this is a big deal for us tribe people and now a university will be the next challenge but I am a winner already. I feel everyone is proud of me and this gives me happiness and confidence. But I know I could not overcome alone and now I know and understand that our lives need some changes and living here day by day I could understand this but it takes time and we need to be patient.

And finally, I want to thank the Sisters of Providence daughters of St. Luigi Scrosoppi for always doing good and being a model of life for us, and thank you for educational opportunities and for various opportunities, I really see you sisters as a mother during the past time through you all make me grow. All of you put me wings, up-to, and let me fly right now. I would like to study education to be a teacher.

I thank each one of the great people I found in my life, they love me like one of their daughters, Thank you for your love and warmth.

And ask God to look after every one of you in every need for now and for your future. I wish you good health and happiness in all you do.

With respect and love
